With my TSX in the shop I’m driving my mom’s Honda Odyssey. I’m used to the approximately 5 lb/ft of torque in my TSX, so the extra low end from the 3.5 V6 is definitely appreciated. It’s a shame it runs out of grunt at ~45 mph from weight and aerodynamics

So, basically the polar opposite of the TSX then - torque down low, then runs out of breath early.
What’s the ETA on the TSX?

V6 Accords are deceptively fast with that motor....

It has power on the top end, but it’s held back by the fact that it’s a 4500lbs van
And not sure, the shop said it still might get totaled but I’m hoping it’ll be done tomorrow, but I don’t really know anything about where it’s at

Put some decent coilovers on it and it should be quite sprightly

Dosent the VTEC come on at like 5000rpm on those? Or was it non VTEC motor?
I know old V6 motors had VTEC.

Hopefully it gets fixed - hate to see it totaled. Good luck!

My V6 Crosstour has no business chirping tires off the line and getting to 60 in 7 seconds. But it does.

It has some but it’s not terrible
What is terrible is the way it shifts, the transmission probably only has 25k miles left on it before it bites the dust
